Happy Friday, Molly Families! Happy Fall Fest Fun week! There was so much fun had at school this week with fall scavenger hunts, spooky dance parties, pumpkin carving and the Boo Bash! Thank you to our School Council for all of their work in making that event a success!

Dear Families, It is hard to believe we are already approaching the end of October. Excluding today and a handful of other days, we have enjoyed a beautiful and relatively warm fall.

During the potential inclement weather months (roughly early November to early April), our transportation partner, Tri-Board Student Transportation Services (Tri-Board), works closely with their school bus companies to determine if it is safe to offer school transportation on inclement weather days.

Fall sports are in full swing at Molly. Our Cross-country runners competed at our Regional Meet on Oct. 16. Six of our students will be moving on to Districts next week. Our Senior Boys' team placed 3rd in their race. Go Thunder Go! Congratulations to all of our runners!

Happy October! We have loved the first month of school and can't believe it is Thanksgiving already! We are grateful for our energetic students, our supportive families and our hard working staff. Together, we are proving that anything is possible!

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day are held annually on September 30. This day invites us to engage intentionally in learning about the Residential School System, and the true history of relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada.
