Molly Brant Update:

It has been a busy and wonderful October at Molly Brant! We are so grateful for the many ways our students, staff, and families continue to come together to build a strong sense of belonging in our school community.

This week we had our Harvest Celebration, organized by Ms. Norman, giving students an opportunity to enjoy the spirit of the season and celebrate together.

A huge thank you to our School Advisory Council and all of the families who joined us for our Boo Bash! It was wonderful to see so many families enjoying the evening together. We appreciate the time, energy, and care that went into making this event such a success.

There is lots happening at Molly Brant: Shine Club is back, our Intermediate Volleyball season is underway, Sistema continues to bring the joy of music into our school, and we are excited to see our students growing as musicians and performers.

We are also happy to have the return of Running and Reading, giving students opportunities to get active and enjoy reading. And, of course, Picture Day was today!

Looking ahead, a reminder that Monday is a PA Day - there is no school for students. Our staff will be engaged in professional learning.

Next week we will be celebrating Fall Fest Spirit Week! More details are below.

Head Lice Reminder: As we move through the school year, we want to remind families that head lice can be a common part of school life, and we encourage everyone to assume that head lice may be present in any classroom at any time. If we have confirmed that a student has live head lice, we will notify families in that classroom with a letter, with this communication being sent a maximum of once per school year. Students with head lice are not excluded from school and can continue to attend while families address the situation at home. If you have questions, concerns, or need support with treatment or resources, please reach out to the school—we are happy to help.

Please scroll down to see upcoming events by SAC and to see our monthly calendar.

Should you have questions about your child's learning, please connect with classroom educators.

Thank you for your continued support!

Volunteering at Molly Brant

If you are interested in volunteering at our school this year, please ensure that your Vulnerable Sector Check was completed within 6 months of the date you start volunteering.

A new process in place in Limestone District School Board. Once you have your police record check back, you must submit it to Police Record Check Portal. Once it is submitted you will be able to volunteer at the school.

We know it is time consuming, but safety is our first priority.

School Parking Lot

The school parking lot is CLOSED to families between 8:00 and 8:30 am and 2:15 and 3 pm.

As the weather changes, more families may choose to drive to and from school. Please remember that stopping in school bus loading zones or no-stopping areas can result in high parking fines. We encourage families to respect posted signage and use alternative locations for pick-up and drop-off.
